Sighişoara Clock Tower, Transylvania, Romania

In case you've never heard of it, Sighişoara is a small town in the Transylvania region of Romania. Its most prominent and memorable landmark is a clocktower which in former times also formed part of the city's defensive structure.

Today it affords tourists a panoramic view of the city as a reward for climbing to the top and having haneded over 10 Lei (US$3) for the privilege.
