Koala Sleeping in the Branches of a Eucalyptus Tree

All Tuckered Out - Sleeping Koala in Australia

There are some times when you just need to take a break. If you happen to be a Koala, this happens for about 16 to 18 hours a day.

Apparently about 3 of the remaining hours are spent eating eucalyptus leaves which are low in protein, but high in indigestible substances and contain phenolic and terpene compounds that are toxic to most other animals.
