Braai-time in Sutherland, South Africa

A "Braai" is the South African way of staying BBQ. I'm told that a real braai involves wood, not charcoal and definitely no gas.

Well I don't think it gets any more real than this: real flames on real wood and lots of real meat such as ostrich and Springbok to cook. Probably not something for the vegetarians! A mere description can't really do justice to the taste, so you'll have to go and visit for a proper sample! Put in a South-African sunset in the bush at Sutherland and some atmospheric clouds, and it also makes for a half-decent photo!
