Chinese New Year's Resolutions
If you made resolutions for the western New Year, Chinese New Years is probably a good time to take stock and have a look at how they're going. If you're like me and you didn't, now is probably a good time to set a clear direction for the year.
So what's happening this year?
- iStock after a fair bit of procrastination last year, its time to get serious about uploading my portfolio to iStock. I had 120 images accepted in January which was a reasonable start, but aim to pick up the pace in February and fill my available slots (120) each week.
- Beach-time: A large part of travel time should be spent in areas where you can get in the water, preferably where its also warm. In the last year this just hasn't been the case often enough. There's going to be some diving and Kayaking on the agenda in early March as I head down through Thailand and on to Malaysia.
- Going home Its been over 2.5 years since I was back in Australia and I just booked flights after putting it off for far too long. I'll be in Queensland on the 22nd of March.
- What else? After March I still have a very open schedule, but many ideas competing for a limited amount of time. Whatever happens its going to be a very busy year ahead!
