Dusk on the Mekong, Vientiane, Laos

I've recently updated just about all my camera equipment. One of the main changes was to get the essentials to fit in one backpack-style bag (Lowepro Flipside 400 AW ) that I can comfortably carry for long periods of time. This includes a relatively compact, but sturdy tripod.

Last night while looking for a hotel room, I came across this scene and as a result f my new equipment choices, was able to capture this image at my preferred settings: with the lens stopped down to f11 to ensure plenty of depth of field and at ISO 100 using a long exposure to ensure the image is free of noise and artifacts.
