Fresh Fruit at the Eumundi Markets, Australia
Eumundi is the town closest to where I grew up, on the Sunshine Coast hinterland in Queensland, Australia.
The main attraction of this small town is the market that's held every Wednesday and Saturday, and has been steadily growing in size and reputation over many years. What is really special about this market is its setting in a town that retains its charming historic atmosphere in a beautiful natural settings. Stalls are placed between colonial era buildings and some giant tropical trees. Its grown from humble origins in 1979 to become an event that attracts 1.6 million visitors each year.
