Koh Lipe came highly recommended by a fellow traveling photographer, Pius, who runs Daily Travel Photos. A suggestion from someone who's been continually traveling for 8 years is something that isn't easily ignored, and in this case he's right on the money. Koh Lipe is unique for its beauty, and also because it is still off the radar for mass tourism. As soon as you arrive and check in at the immigration hut on the island you sense that the pace of life is somewhat slower here.
