Koh Tao is famous on the traveler trail as the place to go for cheap scuba-diving lessons. Just nearby is this small island - Koh Nang Yuan, which has a beautiful white strip of beach connecting two parts of the island, clear water for swimming, and plenty of wooden boardwalks leading to bungalows and a lookout point that boats one of the most idyllic panoramas you're ever likely to see (but more of that tomorrow!)
