View from a Jet leaving Australia

Leaving on a Jet Plane... again!

Todays photo was taken on the plane leaving Sydney in January 2006 after I first left work to go traveling.

At the time I was stepping into the unknown on my first long term trip, and only my second venture away from Australia. I remember thinking that I had a pretty good idea of what the world was about. That thought was soon shattered and I'm still amazed by some of the things I've seen, learned and experienced in the intervening years.

The feeling of leaving for long term travel is one of freedom. Its a time to relish the possibilities that stand before you.

Tomorrow is another one of those days for me! As usual I don't know when I'll be back again!

Hi Holger, "I'm still amazed

Hi Holger,

"I'm still amazed by some of the things I've seen, learned and experienced" <-- I feel the same way, and I've only been travelling for five months!

Have a great flight to Korea, and cheers to freedom and possibilities with travel!
