Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne

The Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne is a popular landmark. To me the interesting part of the market is found in the permanent market structure which has a great selection of specialty cheeses, baked goods, deli style meats and wines.

Less well known is that the buildings are also home to the largest renewable energy installation in Melbourne thanks to 1,328 solar panels installed on the roof.
