Sunday Storm over Brasov Town Square, Romania

After a few days in Brasov, the light has slowly been getting better. Day one was a write-off with non-stop rain.

Yesterday, the rain stopped, but the sky was a blanket of white. It meant I could at least wander about and take a few photos, but the results were not really what I was aiming for.

Today the clouds intermittently opened up to bathe the town in beautiful sunshine. As the afternoon progressed, a dark band of clouds built up creating a dramatic backdrop when combined with the sun shining through from a big patch of blue sky behind me.

Thanks Melli! Will send you an email about Leipzig - thinking about a stop there but it partly depends on whether I end up applying for a German residence permit, & it wouldn't be until a little bit later in the year...

You have very nice photos here, really well done! Good luck for the traveling by train, it sounds great!
We're traveling in the Meditteranean sea with a sailboat which my husband built it in England, we are in Rome at the moment, going south, if you are coming this way, we would like to buy you a beer and tell us how you take good photos.

Hi Amanda! Your sailing adventure sounds like a lot of fun too! Great part of the world to be in at this time of year! I'm planning to travel through Italy in July but haven't got any dates finalised beyond Venice on the 15th of July.
