Tour de France 2010
There are some days where the small form factor, relatively slow auto-focus and slow maximum aperture of the Panasonic GF1 and m4/3 lenses that I'm using aren't that much of a problem.
Today was not one of those days!
If you're choosing a camera to shoot stills at sports events like cycling, a GF1 probably wouldn't be your first choice. It was actually one of the few times that I really missed the focus speed of my old E30 and 50-200mm Olymus SWD lens combination.
To make matters more difficult, the conditions for the finishing stage of the Tour de France was overcast and fairly dull. All in all, however I'm happy with the few images that I did get this afternoon.
All images shot with Panasonic GF1 + 50-150mm f4-5.6 Olympus lens - (more images in the full blog post!)

Great Blog Posts...Interested in Guest Blogging?
Hi,
This is a wonderful blog! It was a very good read.
I was wondering if you would be interested in guest blogging on my blog. It is a collection of my travels and the travels of my guests. If you scan the site you can see that now almost 100% of the posts are from guests. Lately I’ve been finding many people interested in guest posting.
Included in your post will be a link to your website using whatever anchor text or key words you wish and a description of your site (if you choose to include one.)
My blog (onetravel.wordpress.com) receives about 2000 visitors a day and that number is steadily growing.
So if you are interested in being a guest, please let me know.
