Trakai Castle is on a small island in a lake near the town with the same name. Its a nice day trip from Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.
This photo is going back a very long way in my travels - my first big overland trip from Asia to Europe, and was about a week after coming off the trans-siberian railway in mid-2006. Lithuania is somewhere I've wanted to go back to ever since!
