Ruins of Jerash, Jordan

Travel Photo: Ruins of Jerash, Jordan

Jordan is a relatively small country, but packs in a lot for travelers to see and do. One of the highlights for me were the massive roman ruins of Jerash (Ancient Gerasa) in the north of the country, close to the Capital Amman.

Apart from an almost endless succession of Roman columns, there is a massive well preserved Roman amphitheater. Definitely worth a visit!
