The Island of Usedom is on the Baltic Sea Coast in Northern Germany. Its an area that's popular for German visitors, but seems to be off the radar for just about everyone else. On the insistence of a friend who runs a local tour company: Island Safari tours of Usedom, I finally made it up here.

When I mentioned that I was going to another German friend, they indicated that it was better to keep the area a secret. That's probably true, but I'd then also have to take a few days off from posting photos from this beautiful part of the world!

I've also heard from many that they'd like to keep Usedom a secret. I've seen German programs highlighting this area, and your photo also helps to keep my interest high!
